1. Try

I tried to make enough money on my own for 2-week journey with my friend in summer holiday, a journey that we had plananed for a long time, so I got several part time jobs, I had to tutor 5 times every week. It was a tough time actually, because I was afraid that I might do badly in my study. My fear made sense. As it turned out, I did achieve a little bit worse than the first term, but I am not sure whether it was partly because of my part time jobs. Anyway, I managed to make enough money for my journey, which was the best time I had this year. It was a good way to meet different people, and I happened to make friends with some people and keep in touch with each other, esp. a French girl. She gave a kiss to me when I helped her bought a ticket to Chengdu. This was the first time I had been kissed by a girl. I felt strange but it was impressive. Anyway I liked the kiss.
