Lie is opposite to honesty. There are many different opinions on lies and honesty.
Telling lies may be usually regarded as an evil, because some people believe that the people lyingtry to get benefit from dishonest methods or tries to make up their faults. These people hold the view thatthe people lying are dishonest while the other dismiss. They think nothing of people lying. ‘The skills of telling lies, in some respects, can be looked upon as a capacity of imagination.’ One of them said.
