My Favourite Festival

In our country, there are a lot of festivals. Such as:Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Lantern Festival... But, of all the festivals, I like Spring Festival. Why? Now, let me tell you.

Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. Our parents tell us a story about why we have the Spring Festival:

A long time ago, in China, there is a big and dangerous monster. We call it ‘ Nian ’. Every year, the monster comes to village and eat people. People are very afraid of it. One day, a old man come to the village with a little boy. The day which the monster comes to the village was coming, so local people asked them run away. The old man were not afraid of it, and he said he would like to help the villager to kill the monster.
